OXIDATIVE BALANCE

Tool for assessing oxidative stress. Quick and easy test.

Oxidative stress is that condition of strong imbalance between an increase in oxidant molecules (free radicals) and a reduction in antioxidant molecules, which protect our organism.

The result is damage that, if not promptly repaired, in addition to accelerating ageing, will promote the onset or progression of diseases such as atherosclerosis, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s, diabetes, certain types of tumours and other diseases.

Causes of oxidative stress include environmental pollution, poor diet, inadequate exercise, chronic drug intake, untreated inflammatory states, cigarette smoking and alcohol abuse.

Assessing oxidative stress and then supplying our body with all those antioxidant molecules it needs strengthens the immune system, keeps it in good shape and efficient, and helps it to fight all infections, including the coronavirus.
