Art and Culture
The four great cities that have made Tuscany a jewel in the world, Florence, Siena, Lucca and Pisa, are a unique heritage not far from the coast.
FLORENCE
(130 km) is the city where time stood still between 1300 and 1500. The most incredible hothouse of genius capable of producing a new culture, it is now richer than ever in history and culture.
SIENA
(154km) rises among the Chianti hills that protect and frame it. Characterised by its historical medieval streets where shops are located, it is famous for its extraordinary Piazza del Campo.
LUCCA
(99 km) the imposing tree-lined walls that surround it enclose, and are themselves, one of the most important heritages in Tuscany.
PISA
(80 km) the Baptistery, the Cathedral dedicated to the Virgin Mary, the Leaning Tower and the Monumental Cemetery appear in a breathtaking view. For more than a thousand years they have been the symbol of Christianity and the history of Pisa.
