Parks
More than 20% of the Etruscan Coast territory includes parks, protected areas and naturalistic oases, including the WWF Bolgheri Oasis, the Magona Park, the Livorno Hills Park, the Rimigliano Park floral-fauna oasis, the Orti-Bottagone oasis and the Sterpaia and Montioni Parks.
Also fascinating and rich in history are the Baratti-Populonia archaeological park and the San Silvestro archaeo-mineral park in Venturina.
The Parks of the Val di Cornia, on the other hand, tell a millennial story that begins with the ancient Etruscan people and bears witness to centuries of metal mining and processing.
